Hello.

My name is Kelly Richardson.

I am the owner and operator of Sunflower Salon & Boutique.

I graduated from Vermont College of Cosmetology  in June 2007, then worked in the industry for a year before deciding that, while I loved my new profession, I needed to be more in control of the way guests are cared for, and also to have more control over my time with my children.

So, Sunflower Salon opened on December 2, 2008, in lovely downtown Waterbury, Vermont. For the first four and a half years, we were in a small 400 square foot location, learning how to care for clients and how to successfully run a business.

In 2012, we moved to our currently location at 2 North Main Street, expanding to add the Boutique.

Our salon provides the full range of hair services (cutting, coloring, highlighting, perming, etc.), manicures and pedicures, and a stand-up tanning booth.

The boutique offers fun, classic and diverse clothing, jewelry, bags, scarves, and accessories.

I everyone has beauty. There is something about the way a woman walks when she feels confident about the way she looks. Every woman should know how that feels. I consider it a personal challenge to help my guests find that feeling, to embrace it, and to enhance it.

We all have different routines, abilities, goals, and beauty budgets. I find joy in taking the time to teach my guests how to maintain the look they want from home.

I am blessed with the people I see every day. My guests have become such an important part of my life. So, for sharing my passions and supporting my dreams, I thank you.

I invite you to come and be loved. Get pampered, shop a little. Enjoy the atmosphere.
